This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by The Chieftains of the album release called "  3  "  . This Longbox release was originally issued in the mid-80's to early 90's on the Shanachie  Records label with a CAT. NR . : 79023.   The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
LONGBOX CONDITION :
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in Fairly Nice condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap . This longbox was cut open at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were pulled opened somewhat nicely - to remove the cd a number of years ago.  A small portion of the bottom backside flap remains attached to the front side flap.  Still the longbox can be closed nicely and looks great for front side or back side viewing.  There is a red & yellow 3/4" inch square sticker affixed to the longbox  in the bottom-left corner.  The sticker may or may not possibly be removed -  but is Not imprinted in the graphics in this longbox issue .
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
