This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by Chris Rea of the album release called " New Light Through Old Windows ..."  . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1989 on the David Geffen Records label with a CAT. NR . 24232-2 .    The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in good condition - but with no shrink wrap - and still has its dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened , but has been removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open with a razor blade at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were pulled open somewhat nicely -  to remove the cd a number of years ago.  There are some light shelf and edge wear signs - due to the removal of shrink wrap - that are not too noticeable for front side viewing .  Still it is a pretty good looking empty longbox.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .

LONGBOX CONDITION :
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  Boths cd's were removed from the top and the he bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in Very Nice condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap . This longbox was cut open at the very top and also bottom and the top and bottom flaps were pulled opened - to remove the cd's  a number of years ago. The top side and bottom side flaps are functional and fold back very nicely back into the longbox.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
